Web Series

Host: DocWho2100, quiethearted (second hour)
Panellists: Nancylee Myatt, Christin Mell, Christa Morris, Linda Hill
Times: Saturday: 19.00-21.00 (UK), 20.00-22.00 (Central EU), 14.00-16.00 (Eastern US), 13.00-15.00 (Central US), 12.00-14.00 (Mountain US), 11.00-13.00 (Pacific US), 8.00-10.00 (Hawaiian), Sunday: 2.00-4.00 (Western AU), 4.00-6.00 (Eastern AU), 6.00-8.00 (NZ)
Synopsis: Web Series are one of the most recent additions to the world of femslash. As Christa Morris of Open Book Productions put it: “It’s the Wild West.” Christin Mell and Nancylee Myatt with their “Cowgirl Up” series would probably agree. Christin Mell with tellofilms (tellofilms.com produces and distributes innovative, high-quality web-series with a lesbian focus such as: “The Throwaways”, “Kiss Her I’m Famous”, “I Hate Tommy Finch”, and more) and Nancylee Myatt (“3Way”, “South of Nowhere”, “Cowgirl Up”) will talk about their recent projects and what exciting projects are around the corner (“Roomies”, the Nikki & Nora web series).Christa Morris, Co-Executive Producer of “Venice” (www.venicetheseries.com), “The Grove” (www.thegrovetheseries.com), and “Beacon Hill” (www.beaconhilltheseries.com) will be representing Open Book Productions (openbookprod.com). Linda Hill is CEO of Bella Books and Bella Books Productions (www.bellabooks.com). The two companies are partnering to bring out a new web series this fall called “Beacon Hill.” The new series, “Beacon Hill,” will star Crystal Chappell, as do the others, and will be written by Linda Hill and Emma Ryan. OBP is Ms. Chappell’s production company that currently handles “Venice” and “The Grove.” Bella Books really needs no introduction to anyone who reads lesbian fiction as it is one of the oldest and most respected of the lesbian-centric publishing companies with Bella Books Productions being their newest brain child. Both companies will be represented in the last hour of the panel discussing their new collaboration as well as their plans for the future. We look forward to hearing about all the new and returning web series from this illustrious panel.
